Q: What are the benefits of buying from you? In another words, why should I buy from you?
A: We want you have the best TCE (Total Customer Experience) for your baby. We are not the cheapest one in the market, but we are the best one in quality, style, detail, service and total solutions for our clients in this money range. Here are some high lights:

- Totally laid back management style: if this kind of bike is not suited to my client, then I will told them that.  I do not want to make some quick buck from you when you think this bike is the same as the Honda. My client never, never, never feels any sale push from me.

- We stand behind our bike: we custom restore and build your bike from scratch.  I do not rename and resale somebody else's bike for a cheap price to just make a quick buck out of it.

- We are the best total solution provider in the world: 97% of my clients use our full service to import their bike. We are the experts in this trade field. We do that in the formal way, so that our clients will get the bike without any surprise later: easy to pass the customs clearance, easy to get title and easy to get insurance. We have a 100% trouble free record.

- We provide best after sale service: most clients are first time Chang Jiang motorcycle owners so the after sale support is important to them. I provide technical know-how, most of the time with step by step photo procedures to fix the problem my client may have.

CJ750 Motorcycles Questions:

Q: What kind gasoline does this kind bike use?
A: It is a 4 strokes engine.  It can use the regular un-lead gasoline or lead gasoline.

Q: I need ride my bike on the highway daily, can I keep up with the flow?
A: Nowadays, the average speed for cars at highway is about 75 to 80 MPH. It is too much to ask this 1930s designed old school bike (the average speed at that time was about 25 to 30 MPH and no one had heard about the highway at all) to keep up with the modern cars and modern highway at this speed, so the short answer is NO. However, you can ride it at the highway at 50 to 60 MPH.  Most likely your bike will be the slowest bike on highway and you will cause traffic from other car drivers to slowing down to just take a look at your cool bike (not because your bike is slow).

Q: Can I handle this kind of bike?
A: This old school bike was designed at a time when labor was cheap but technology was expensive so it is a very simple and basic bike. In fact, in China they used this kind bike for Auto Mechanical School Training purpose. If you are a hands on guy and do not mind get your hands dirty, then with some technical paper and tips from me, you should be able to maintain and fix almost every things for this bike. For example: oil change, change light bulb, timing, secure wires, change tires, polish bike, wax tires, brake adjustment, clutch adjustment and idle adjustment, etc. It is not a bike for everyone, but it is a dream bike for those of us love to tinkling around. Otherwise, an almost maintainence free Honda bike may suit you better.

Q: How do the gears work?
A: There is one down, 3 ups. It is a war bike, so this bike has the "n + 1" design: there is a hands gear change handle at the right side of the gear box: just in case your left foot was injured in the battle field so that you can still crawl back to home base.

Q: Why does my gas throttle can stack in the position function like a cruise control?
A: That means your bike still uses the original Chinese Army's gas throttle grip. They did that in purpose, so that the rider solider can keep his bike in a stable speed while he use his right arm to shooting the enemy at the same time. Otherwise, you bike was restored with a regular gas throttle grip.

Ordering, US side fees and Delivery Questions:

Q: What is your normal delivery time?
A: The normal delivery time is about 3 months: 2 months to restored and one month for ship.

Q: What kind payment do you accept and in which form?
A: For deposit: by Check or Credit Card by PayPal; Final payment: by wiring or check.

Q: How much will the US side fees cost me?
A: The US side fees vary from place to place. Here is an example of a door-to-door full service which shows these fees in detail for an actual transaction. You can get some idea from it:

Q: Do I need help to unload the bike even if I order the full service?
A: For a solo bike, the answer is No. For a bike with sidecar, the answer is YES. The reason is that most local US freight company delivery trucks' on board lifts are not powerful enough to unload this big and heavy motorcycle for you in your drive way. You need to rent a lifter or buy a few 4 x 12 boards from Home Depot to unload your bike
