Video 5. Chang Jiang 750 M1M Cruising I took those Chang Jiang 750 fast cruising QuickTime movies by myself with one hand controlling my bike and my other hand holding the digital camera. You can see me doing that from the mirror reflections in the Speedo's glass. It shows the restored 1964's black BMWR71 with stop screw still on and cruising at about 80 km/hour. This bike was restored with the Chinese Army original setup specifications except for my upgrade of a gear box with a reverse gear. I like show off my reverse gear to my HD friends: that means no faster 4th gear, no faster final drive, no deep sum oil pan, no high output oil pump. The best way to get a high quality Chang Jiang 750 motorbike is to restore it from the original Chinese Army bike with quality parts. It is no surprise to me that there are many poor quality Chang Jiang 750 some bikers will get from these trading enterprises. You might save some money at the beginning, but I am sorry you will get what you paid for. Money does talk and perform with Chang Jiang 750 motorbike, unless you are very good at fine-tuning these bikes yourself.
